In 2009 Nenúfar was honored with the ADCV Gold Award in the outdoor product category, recognizing the parasol’s innovative design and sculptural approach. The award celebrates excellence in creativity and design quality, highlighting projects that combine formal strength with thoughtful functionality.

Nenúfar stood out for its organic inspiration and technical clarity, reinterpreting the traditional umbrella through a design language rooted in nature and adaptability, qualities that continue to define the project’s lasting impact.

The design of Nenúfar draws its essence from the gentle curves and silhouette of a water lily leaf, translating natural geometry into a refined outdoor shading solution. The parasol’s canopy can be inclined through an integrated joint that creates a sense of harmony between canopy and mast, while also allowing adjustment of height and orientation.
