Nude
Nude 2004 marked the first entry of both Alex Selma and Clara del Portillo into the world of design. Conceived as a platform for emerging designers, the exhibition became the first public context in which each of them presented their work individually and for the very first time.
Although their projects were shown separately, Nude 2004 was the place where they met and where an initial dialogue began to take shape. Through different objects and personal explorations, both were already questioning form, proportion and the relationship between objects and space.
What started as two independent voices within a young designers’ exhibition would soon evolve into a shared way of thinking. In hindsight, Nude 2004 can be seen as the starting point of a process that gradually led to the creation of Yonoh, establishing the foundations of a practice rooted in clarity, restraint and conceptual consistency.
