Degre9 is an urban planter that reimagines the role of greenery in the public realm. Its design balances expressive geometry with functional strength to create an object that looks as active as the spaces it inhabits. The arrangement of angular planes gives the planter a distinctive identity while offering generous planting volume and robust performance. Degre9 transforms steel into a presence that supports nature in the city with character and calm. It celebrates how urban furniture can be both utilitarian and poetic, embedding greenery into city life while shaping space with clarity and composure.
The objective was to design a planter that contributes to sustainable city landscapes without losing visual strength. The piece had to be adaptable in scale and composition, able to contain diverse plant typologies while responding to the practical demands of urban environments. The challenge was to integrate planting, structure and presence into a coherent urban form.
Development focused on the interplay between geometry, material and modularity. The planter is crafted from metal with finishes suitable for outdoor conditions, ensuring durability and long-term performance. By arranging inclined planes in a thoughtful geometry, the design generates a visual rhythm that activates space while providing functional planting volume. The modular logic allows multiple compositions, enabling flexibility in urban layout.
