Lunar for Drisag
Quiet form, clear space
Lunar is an acoustic panel designed to bring calm and clarity to contemporary interiors. It arises from a study of form and function where sound absorption is translated into a sculptural presence. Lunar’s geometry is rooted in simple, rhythmic undulations that respond to acoustic needs while creating a visual identity that feels calm and composed. The panel performs technically with excellent acoustic qualities and at the same time contributes to the spatial experience through its refined presence. Lunar becomes a mediator between silence and space, choreographing light, shadow and sound in equal measure.
The objective was to design an acoustic solution that is both functional and sculptural. It had to address real acoustic challenges while offering a presence that complements modern interiors rather than disrupting them. Simplicity of form was essential, but it had to be rich in spatial intention.
The design process started from the idea of transforming a technical requirement into a visual language. By studying waveforms and rhythmic repetition, the panel’s geometry emerged as a thoughtful translation of sound absorption into surface modulation. Materials and proportions were balanced to ensure acoustic performance while preserving a feeling of calm and coherence.
