Where light, matter and gravity find their equilibrium
Light becomes the starting point of the composition. Rather than designing a conventional luminaire, the project explores how different volumes can organise themselves around light, generating a balanced system suspended in space.
The design is built through the interaction of contrasting elements. Soft opal glass spheres diffuse the light, while solid marble pieces introduce weight and material presence. Between them, a slender metal structure traces invisible lines that connect each component, creating a subtle tension between gravity and lightness.
The arrangement suggests an orbital movement, where every element appears to find its position in relation to the others. This controlled composition transforms the lamp into a small spatial architecture, capable of structuring the atmosphere of a room while maintaining a quiet visual elegance.
The result is a lighting family where material, geometry and light work together in equilibrium, creating objects that feel both sculptural and precise.
