Form and void find their balance
The design is defined by a pure cylindrical volume, interrupted by a precise cut that reveals its inner depth. Rather than a subtraction, this gesture becomes the essence of the piece, transforming the object into a composition of mass and void. The opening introduces function and tactility, while giving the form a distinctive and architectural presence.
The collection is conceived as a dialogue between two pieces. A low, horizontal volume expresses calm and stability, while a taller, more slender element introduces a vertical counterpoint. Together, they create a balanced composition where proportion, height and spacing define the relationship between them.
Crafted in aluminium, the construction remains clear and honest. The subtly hammered surface softens the geometry, catching light in a nuanced way and adding a tactile richness. Throughout the day, light and shadow move across the surface and within the void, reinforcing the sculptural character of the piece.
